Weapons: He carries a rapier, but it is mostly for show. He has a dagger that he uses for very mundane purposes, much like he'd use a knife.

Well, let's see here. Um...Andre and his twin sister Homilie were the first born of Ember Argonen (who had another much elder daughter named Cheshire) and Malgrym Tavoll (who had another, previously unknown son named Zac'Ceroth). The next along the line was Amira Tavoll. They had a little bit of a hectic childhood, as any child born of Krissie's characters frequently do, but things didn't go really bad until the twins were around 7 years old. Then, one day without a word, Malgrym disappeared, never to be seen or heard from again--at least as far as Andre was concerned.
After the disappearance of Malgrym, Ember...well, she got a little different. It was as though her generally happy, cheerful, and VERY affectionate nature all got sapped from her life, and she became...well, I suppose "erratic" would be the best word. "Chaotic" is a good second. Anyway, Ember had been working for years to pay off the debts of her adventuring party, of which Malgrym was definitely a part, but she had to turn to...less than chaste methods after she lost all other means of survival with the fall of the Empire of her home lands. She also had another child, Telquin Daillen, from another of her former party members. The task fell to Homilie and Andre to raise their siblings as best they could, until, at long last, adventure came knocking for Homilie. His sister should have been wed, but things were a bit different in those areas, and so he did not protest when she left. One by one, his siblings left on grand adventures, leaving Andre the arduous task of making sure Ember "Eyegouger" Argonen did not get into too much trouble.
One day, he followed in his father's footsteps. He left his mother, left Laeton, left behind any life he might have had. Whenever possible, he worked for his supper as a skilled craftsman. If that was not possible, however, he had no objection whatsoever turning to highway robbery, which was how he acquired the meager funds to stay in Tranquility. Now that he is here, however, he has once again attempted to resume some sort of decent living, currently doing the occasional odd job for the occasional odd citizen.
