Lelanda Milisant LeAmour, daughter of Queen Nicholina Milisant LeAmour and King Leland Milisant, has ruled these lands since far before her time. She assumed her position as the presentable Queen of the City at the age of 14 following her mother's sudden passing. Queen Nicholina was a fine ruler and had educated her daughter extensively on both her heritage and her upcoming duties when the crown was passed, although the Queen never expected to pass down her title so soon. Unbeknowst to all, save of course Pandora, King Leland harbored a deep seated jealousy for both his wife and daughter, hiding it behind soft spoken words and frequent lavish displays of affection. His betrayal, however, was a shock to all. Having posed as such a gentle man for so many years even Pandora questioned his ability to act on his true feelings and was utterly outraged when Nicholina was taken from this world. The way in which her descendant became so suddenly and violently ill made the Master of the City suspicious and after sampling a bit of the deceased's vitae had those suspicions confirmed. Leland had poisoned Queen Nicholina and was subsequently dealt with, or is technically still being dealt with as he still resides within the innermost confines of the city's dungeon.
Lelanda was devastated by the loss of both her parents in such quick succession, believing her father dead until very recently. She worked very closely with Pandora, as she had since a youth, preparing herself to rule a city when she could only barely manage her hormones. Pandora opted to keep what truly happened a secret until she believed Lelanda ready to handle that information atop everything else that was suddenly thrust upon the young woman. Queen Lelanda accepted her position willingly, delving deep into the inner workings of the city to keep her mind off of her loss. Her devotion to her work has caused the city to prosper in ways previously unfathomable, keeping the mortals and immortals separated like never before. She worked diligently to dispel rumors that there were things that truly went bump in the night running rampant in a city named for its peaceful nature and over time her subjects began accepting her statements without question. With her strong will and ability to handle any situation with a levelheadedness far surpassing her age, Pandora revealed the true location of Leland to the Queen shortly following her eighteenth birthday. Lelanda's reaction was surprising to say the least as she showed no outward emotion and asked only to be allowed to see him. When she confronted the man attributed with her creation she said nothing, her gaze boring into his own for what seemed like an eternity. Upon her exit from the dungeon her last request concerning her father was that her mother's name be forever branded into his forehead, torso and both forearms.
