Well folks, the application for approval on the new room has been submitted. We're just waiting to hear back from them.
Because my membership account went into effect yesterday, I am now listed as a Room Leader. So the cat's out of the bag. There's no need to keep the building of a new chat quiet. Feel free to tell your friends.
However, please when you talk about it, let them know that it is 'in the works' as a goal. It does not exist yet, and we don't know if it will until we hear back from the Admins on approval.
Also, please do not try stealing members from an already ongoing room. These Room Leaders pay for their rooms and put a lot of work into them. We don't want to lure their chatters to our own home. They are welcome to join, of course, but there will be no "Why don't you leave this room and come to this one instead" comments. It is a cross-realm for a reason. Chatters do not have to leave the room they're already in.
I will keep you informed on the room status as I learn it myself.
