-Ocae stepped out of the Inn and into the air of the square, his hands moving to lift above his head as he stretched nice and tall, fingertips laced above his head and crack of joints is heard in bother fingers and arms as he yawns quietly. After a good nights rest, and a good part of the day he looked now alot better than he had the night before. After all rest does wonders doesn't it?. He paused a moment, his gaze flickering over his surroundings, he had a few choices to make and a few things to check out at some point, but where to start for this day?-
It was a good thing that Thea was a simple girl, else she very well may have had to move from Tranquility and into a more popular realm. The jobs here were scarse and when one ran their own business, it was mighty difficult to support any lifestyle on the measly few coins they were able to gather in the course of a moonspan.
As it were, Thea didn't make nearly enough money to have her own home, which had been a lifelong dream of hers, nor did she even warrent enough pay for a room at the local inn. Because of the lack of people that needed her services, Thea was stuck living in the loft above the Stables. She had tried to live in the shop, the one thing she could afford to rent though hardly, but the hawk had not stopped protesting for the entire two days during that attempt.
Thea chuckled quietly, her hand absentmindedly stroking Crookie just behind the neck. That had been a disaster. At least now Crookie was more content. And as she and Crookie sat there, Thea allowed her mind to wander to the events of the day before.
-he turned around on the spot a moment- Right, now what way did she say it was? -he thought a moment and then went over the coversation from the day before on his mind, before starting off towards the stables and the odd lass he had met the day before. Okay, so she wasn't that odd, just a tad anti-social at first, but she seemed to relax a little before she suddenly rushed off. Ocae could understand the anti-social part, or atleast the part about wanting to be alone. He had been like for a long time, ever since he laid down his sword and left his home village. A good few cycles had passed since that time, and yet the events of that evening still surfaced sometimes at night, in his dreams, in the shadows, he shook his head a little as the thoughts came rushing back and he tried to focus on the day at hand-
Cookie let a cry out, bringing Thea back to the present moment and she gave a small smile. Carefully, she kept her hand stretched out and climbed to her feet once more.
Her footfalls tudded with every step on the wood that composed the loft of the Barn. When she reached the far side, Crookie lept from her gloved hand and soared downward to land on one of the abandoned stalls below. Using both hands, Thea then decended the ropemake ladder to the ground floor of the stables.
As she headed towards the doors that led to and from the stables itself, Crookie launched himself into the air again and landed once more on her gloved hand. The two of them headed out together.
As Thea stepped out of the doors of the stables, she stopped walking. Simply standing there, she lifted her free hand and scratched behind the hawk's neck once more, speaking quietly.
And off he went, flying first directly ahead until with every flap of his wings, he rose higher and higher into the sky until he reached the tops of the trees, and then onward. Thea stood there, one hand braced infront of her to block the glare of the sun, and watched him go until he was nothing more then a speck in the sky.
-he came into view about the same time the Crookie soared off into the distance and he smiled, he didn't know whether you had seen him yet, and didn't want to startle you too much-
-yes whilst he might not like trapseing around in the countryside with no plans, he wasn't objective to nature it's self-
-he asked curiously, and wondered if you were going to talk to him, he still had no real idea about the blush and the running off-
Thea turned her hazel eye's towards the voice, that smile still on her face from watching Crookie take flight.
She lowered her hand, no longer needing it to sheild against the sun, seeing as she wasn't staring at it any longer. Her hand absentmindedly raised to tuck an unrulely strand of hair behind her ear before falling to her side.
She was dressed in a simple pair of men's trousers and dress shirt, though you couldn't see it beneath the brown leather smock she wore. They were dusky but not nearly as bad as her attire from the day before. Her hair had a few stray hay peices in it, and looked awful.
-he smiled-
-he nods-
She could feel that uncomfortable blush creeking up her cheeks and turned her face away from him to hide it.
As she spoke, Thea took up a slow trudge back towards the stables until she was standing in the doorway. The four horses inside that belonged to Tranquility were relatively quiet, having got their workout and food earlier from the stablehand. Thea didn't take care of the horses, she just lived with them. Not that that was much of an improvement.
-he thought about that a moment-
-he nodded and moved to follow you, well walk with you-
-he reached out to pet one of the horses softly as he looked around the stable-
A single eyebrow arched as he seemed serious about helping with the chores. People just don't volunteer for chores. She was silent a long time as she considered her financial state and tried to figure out if she could afford him a few coins since he had suggested helping with the chores. Probably not, but she would either way.
She indicated the white horse in which he had just pet.
As she talked, she continued walking further into the stables. When she reached the ropemade ladder, she paused, one hand on the rope.
People just didn't like climbing, and she doubted he wanted to try wiggling around on a rope.
-it wouldn't matter, he wouldn't take it. He had enough coin for now, and should he decide to stay, well he would work on a few things, he always had been good and finding things to do-
-he smiled-
-he asked curious as he followed you through, getting to the foot of the rope ladder and he tilted his head-
-he figured he meant you needed to get a few things, and that you had been living here, he knew a few people that liked living with the animals. He couldn't blame them, sometimes they just were more serene than being around humans. He hadn't always been like this, well in a way he had, but he was more mellow and more withdrawn than he used to be-
Thea gave a shrug of her shoulders and turned her back to him, easily climbing the ladder. As she went she talked.
By then, she had reached the top and disappeared from sight for a moment. A minute later she was standing there again, two small pails in either hand.
-he chuckled a little-
-he teased a little-
-he smiled a little and looked up at you-
With a small smile and a shake of her head, Thea held out one hand and released her grip on the handle of the pail, watching as it fell downward. Then she repeated it with her other hand until she was free of both pails.
Her eye's watched to see if he'd manage to catch both of them, before she would quickly scamper back down the roped ladder.
-he cuaght both pails with relative ease and shook his head as well, placing them on the ground one by one-
That good mood was about to be spoiled, she knew it but she let the comment pass. His cheerfulness wouldn't be around for long.
As she reached the ground again, Thea adjusted her smock and stepped towards him, hands outstretched to take the pails from him.
She went on to explain.

"Alright, boy. Come on. Let's get dinner."
Her footfalls tudded with every step on the wood that composed the loft of the Barn. "Go on, boy. Be safe."
And off he went, flying first directly ahead until with every flap of his wings, he rose higher and higher into the sky until he reached the tops of the trees, and then onward. Thea stood there, one hand braced infront of her to block the glare of the sun, and watched him go until he was nothing more then a speck in the sky.

Tis a beautiful sight, isn't it? To see nature at it's best
-yes whilst he might not like trapseing around in the countryside with no plans, he wasn't objective to nature it's self-
Good afternoon Thea, I trust you are well this day?
-he asked curiously, and wondered if you were going to talk to him, he still had no real idea about the blush and the running off-
Thea turned her hazel eye's towards the voice, that smile still on her face from watching Crookie take flight.
"Indeed, sire. Good day M'lord Ocaeron. What bring's you out here?"
She lowered her hand, no longer needing it to sheild against the sun, seeing as she wasn't staring at it any longer. Her hand absentmindedly raised to tuck an unrulely strand of hair behind her ear before falling to her side.

-he smiled-
Well you actually. I did say I would drop by and say hello at some point today
-he nods-
and I wanted to thank you again for the tour, considering you ran off so quickly on me last eve [/center
]-he paused a moment to think-
-he wanted to get more of a feel for the place before he decided his course of actions, howeverm it was nice to see a familar face-
]-he paused a moment to think-
So what do you have planned for today?
-he wanted to get more of a feel for the place before he decided his course of actions, howeverm it was nice to see a familar face-
She could feel that uncomfortable blush creeking up her cheeks and turned her face away from him to hide it.
"I have a few chores to tend to this afternoon. You are more then welcome to stick around and watch, or return later and I'd be happy to help you out with anything you require."
-he thought about that a moment-
Or I could help with the chores, it's the least I could do for you showing me around
-he nodded and moved to follow you, well walk with you-
So what's first?
-he reached out to pet one of the horses softly as he looked around the stable-
A single eyebrow arched as he seemed serious about helping with the chores. People just don't volunteer for chores. She was silent a long time as she considered her financial state and tried to figure out if she could afford him a few coins since he had suggested helping with the chores. Probably not, but she would either way.
"That's Whisper."
She indicated the white horse in which he had just pet.
"Four of the horses her belong to Tranquility for the residents to rent out should they find need to travel outside of town. The three empty stalls are for when visitor's come to our home."
As she talked, she continued walking further into the stables. When she reached the ropemade ladder, she paused, one hand on the rope.
"I'm up here. If you'd like, you can wait down here, while I get a few things."
People just didn't like climbing, and she doubted he wanted to try wiggling around on a rope.
-it wouldn't matter, he wouldn't take it. He had enough coin for now, and should he decide to stay, well he would work on a few things, he always had been good and finding things to do-
Whisper, it's a nice name
-he smiled-
What are the other 3 called?
-he asked curious as he followed you through, getting to the foot of the rope ladder and he tilted his head-
You are up here?
-he figured he meant you needed to get a few things, and that you had been living here, he knew a few people that liked living with the animals. He couldn't blame them, sometimes they just were more serene than being around humans. He hadn't always been like this, well in a way he had, but he was more mellow and more withdrawn than he used to be-
I'll come give you a hand, unless you would prefer me to wait down here?
Thea gave a shrug of her shoulders and turned her back to him, easily climbing the ladder. As she went she talked.
"You might as well wait, I can toss down the pails to you. The brown one is Bolt, then Spooks and Beast is at the end."
By then, she had reached the top and disappeared from sight for a moment. A minute later she was standing there again, two small pails in either hand.
"Can you catch?"
-he chuckled a little-
I can catch.. well most the time, but hey, I guess we are about to find out
-he teased a little-
Okay, I am ready when you are
-he smiled a little and looked up at you-
With a small smile and a shake of her head, Thea held out one hand and released her grip on the handle of the pail, watching as it fell downward. Then she repeated it with her other hand until she was free of both pails.
Her eye's watched to see if he'd manage to catch both of them, before she would quickly scamper back down the roped ladder.
-he cuaght both pails with relative ease and shook his head as well, placing them on the ground one by one-
Aww, I was going to catch you too
-he teased a little, he could be semi playful at points, and he was in a good mood today-That good mood was about to be spoiled, she knew it but she let the comment pass. His cheerfulness wouldn't be around for long.
As she reached the ground again, Thea adjusted her smock and stepped towards him, hands outstretched to take the pails from him.
"We're just going to fill the pails with berries that are already stored in the back room."
She went on to explain.
"The berries are for the squirrel traps. They raise the expectation level so that we catch more. Sometimes Crookie is too tired to hunt on his own, so I try to stock up for him."
