Because the Hidden Realm of Tranquility is based in Medieval Times, pregnancy prior to a wedding is not permitted. In the 1600s, women remained virgins until the eve of their wedding night. This is the frame in which the Hidden Realm of Tranquility works within to support the timeframe.
This does not mean your character HAS TO remain pure until the eve of their wedding. It does, however, mean that your character cannot become pregnant until you are married.
Furthermore, CC is an 18+ chat. This means that there are NO characters allowed under the age of 18. IF you do have children, ONLY the PARENTS of the child is able to NPC their child in their OWN rp until the child is of 18 years of age, and then can have a handle for themselves.
Marriages are welcomed and even celebrated within the Hidden Realm of Tranquility. However, you cannot marry someone without first courting them for a respectable amount of time.Unless it is an arranged marriage (in which it still must take three months of active rp before the wedding takes place) the two characters that wish to get married must be courting each other for a minimum of THREE months.
This is the shortest timeframe in which two characters can get married within the Hidden Realm of Tranquility.
The reason for this timeframe is as followed:
* In the Middle Ages, one would not rush into marriage. They were often accompanied by many months of courting, a dowery and the blessings of the family.
* The timeframe will prevent those from simply coming into HRT in seek of 'relationships' and days dedicated to their 'wedding.'
* The three month courting period will further support the fact that you are knowingly entering into a role of Marriage and intend to put forth the dedication and effort it requires.
Important Things to Remember:
Divorce was not heard of in the Medieval Times. Who you married is who you spent the remainder of your life with.
A wedding IS NOT to be taken lightly. If you marry a character, you are stuck with that character until either a) one of the two characters die. or b) you can prove the marriage parties are illegally binded.
A wedding will be scheduled on a certain date that is available for both parties involved and one of the rooms Admins. If RT comes up and you realize you will not be able to make it, you will be required to give 24 hours notice, and it will be rescheduled for another day. HOWEVER, sometimes RT comes up unexpectedly. We understand that we cannot always prepair for everything. Under the circumstance, if a member of the wedding fails to arrive on the Wedding day at the registered time, the wedding will be postponded for a minimum of ONE WEEK, when another date can be selected and arrangements can be made.
The details of a wedding is entirely up to the two parties involved and all plannings will be the responsibility of those two parties.
So...
To Sum It Up:
1. You must be courting your partner for THREE MONTHS prior to a wedding.
2. You must receive the blessing of family and at least ONE Royal Party Member to be granted a Wedding Boon.
3. Your Character cannot become Pregnant until AFTER you are married. There will be NO conception of children if you are not married to their parent.
4. A Child must be NPC'd by THEIR PARENTS until the child turns 18 years of age. Age will not take 18 RP'd years to reach that age. A minimum of SIX MONTHS must be rp'd before your child ICly reaches the age of 18. This can be slower, depending on the wishes of the parents.

Note: In accordance with the CC Rule:
1. Underage porn is illegal. Anyone seen posting underage porn or using underage characters in any way (including character names) in Creativity Chat will receive a permanent ban. You may refer to a child in your posts - but the child character may only be for the purpose of legitimate role play and any actions done via NPC and not by a real person role playing the child character.
