I know everyone wants to have an 'important' character, and thus royalty characters are bound to come to mind.
Please note that the only characters considered and treated like royalty in the Hidden Realm of Tranquility are those royals OF Tranquility. This means, that even if you create a Lord, a King, Queen, or other Royal character, it will not be addressed as Royalty in Tranquility.
By this, we mean that this character will not receive special attention or be required to be treated as Royalty while in Tranquility. This does NOT include Royalty from other chats that are based on CC.
If your character is a Royal from another room on CC, your status WILL be accepted in chat, and those will respect that status.
If, however, your character is a Royal from any other 'realm' that is NOT a room on CC, your status can support your character traits and background, but will not be adknowledged as a Royal in HRT.
Playing a Royal is not an easy thing to do. Here are some tips for those of you that think you wish to play a royal. Consider them PRIOR to announcing your character IS royal of some made up location.
Travelling Parties: NO Royal travel alone. This means that throughout every single one of your roleplays, you will need to npc guards, escorts etc with your every trip. A Royal is considered an important status, and thus no Royals no matter their strength, power, or personality, travels alone. In the 15-16 hundreds, it was unheard of that a member of a Royal party go anywhere without at least two guards to accompany them. The same goes within HRT.
Fighting: A Royal does not fight themselves. They have guards whom do the fighting for them to ensure that no harm comes of the Royal. This means, if you choose to make your character a Royal of some place or some group, your character will have to act accordingly. They have lesser beings that do the dirty work for them.
Residental Royals: A Royal is only a Royal of the place they live in. Thus, if your character becomes a Royal for some place based solely by you, they will never be considered a resident in HRT. A Royal party always belongs in their Royal Court. This means that if your character becomes a perminate resident of HRT, they will be forfitting their Royal status to do so.
Inappropiate Royal Titles: You CANNOT create a Royal character for a race, or a popular group. This means that you cannot be a Royal member of any large group that affects other characters. Basically, if you are a Lycan, you cannot be an Alpha Male unless you have the pack to be with. Likewise, you cannot be a Master Vampire if you do not have lower Vampires serving under you. You cannot be King of the Shapeshifters, without a guild to support that. This also means that you cannot announce yourself a Royal of the fae's. These are races or sentences that effect other characters of the same race, thus it is not polite to assume yourself a Royal of these things when other members of the same races have not elected you this Royal. It is like saying 'I am going to create a Lycan, and I will be the Lord of Lycans. My status of a Lycan will affect ALL Lycans.' Likewise, you cannot say 'I will be a Lord of the Seelie Court'. This is giving your character unearned status over ALL fae's. This does NOT mean that you cannot be 'Lord of the Pickle Pickers of Seelie Court.' This status means that your 'lordship' status only applies to a small GROUP of the Seelie Court. Basically, this means you CANNOT be a Royalty that effects other members of the same race, UNLESS you are Royalty OF the Hidden Realm of Tranquility.
