Tathar Seregon
Hajia Portier
Mathas
Location: The Tower
Time: four hours after sunset
(A good deal of this is missing, so sorry I couldn't grab it.)
She stirred and her eyes opened slowly, not completely but enough to see. She started seeing Mathas. What in the world was he doing? Her eyes darted around . Where was she?..She pushed herself to sit up. Wincing emmensly at the burning sensation on her skin. That jerk had gotten a piece of her after all. But she had made sure he would remember the encounter. She looked then to Mathas..and ground out through teeth pressed together because of the pain.
" Who...are you? Where am I..? I need Pandora...or Tathar..no no not him.. he despises me.."
She was rambling..incoherently, coherently. IT was fading from her. Her hand reached up and grabbed the man and yanked him down into her face. "...Stop...stop that...let me bleed...oh..well.."
Ah, she awoke and just LOOK at those eyes. Such pretty sparkles! Dance, little sparkles, dance! He became aware that he was staring at her, and desisted with the wrapping.
"Sorry, princess. Nothings doin. Pandora is.......busy with the fuzzball at the moment."
Just the thought of that made his fists clench, but he swallowed visibly and relaxed.
"Now how about you just lay there and let me do my task, eh? Atta girlie. Now, we're gonna play a little game, wild cat. It's called 'lets give the nice man all the answers he wants'. That is all there is to it, really. It's really easy. I think you'll like it. See, I get to ask you whatever questions I want, and you get to answer them. Doesn't that sound like fun?"
He grinned cockily at her, but she might be able to tell how strained it was, from the combination withdrawal, and the sickening feeling that he knew what was going on upstairs.
She stared at him, her brow perked up. Her stubborness was alive again. Who the hell did he t hink he was? Hahahaha. Her mind rolled, half insanely.
"..I don't think I'll play the game, there's nothin' you need to know.."
Remembering the happens the last time she spoke in a manner like that, she ended up with Furbio hating her. Sighing inwardly she shoved her guard and temperment aside. Respect.. be respectful.
"..Sorry, ask away.."
she said it as she waived her hand, she couldn't move her right arm, looking down at the wound that had been wrapped she glared again at the darkened puppet.
"...Ahh..and don't worry yourself with what's happenin' between them...He's far better for her than the likes of you, she deserves someone stable and caring not someone who's jittery and repulsive.."
She wasn't meaning to be rude, but it came out that way. She felt bi polar at the moment. And then.. She could hear something.. A heart beat, it was quick..and c oming from above...Tathars? Why could she hear it? Her head drooped a little in pain and she darted her eyes everywhere.
He smirked, but only nervously. The wench, this silly little girl, who did she think she was? Pandora was his...HIS! He just knew it. There could be no other way...could there? COULD THERE? Instead, he pressed forward.
"First, what is the name of the LITTLE GIRL so foolish enough to bleed about the place like it wasn't a haven for the night world? Second off, how did you come by those little booboos? Do they...hurt?"
He grinned sickly at her again.
"Answer quickly and answer right and I'll see if I can convince Pandora not to rip you limb from limb. Would be such a pity, so so sad if she had to do that."[/b] [/u]
She rolled her head back towards him and his sickenin' ditzy attitude. She opened her mouth and Shrieked.
" TATHAR!!!!! TATHAR!!!!
It took alot out of her and she slumped back, she looked to him after yelling loud enough to make the smallest bit of loose rock crumble. She eyed him and then answered him.. HER way.
" I...I am Hajia Portier, and Pandora most likely will rip me limb from limb anyway...and these booboos? Were compliments from a Lycan who didn't like the Idea a WOMAN had beaten him at his own game."
She would look out from her cell, and listen...she prayed he could hear her, because this man was setting her last nerve and she nay wished to hurt him.
He let out a childish giggle at her shrieks.
"You think...you think the mangy mongrel will come down here for your cries? Is THAT waht you think? That he'd leave her for YOU? "
Ah, so she had an encounter with a lycan also. That explained it. He snickered barely audibly.
"well, dear, darling, sweet, precious little Hajia, bosses orders. You're stayin in here tonight, and even her little...amusement for the night--and the night only-- won't do anything to disobey her. You're stuck here with me. Lucky you, right?"[/b][/u]
As Pandora left he began to wonder as to what he was going to do now with the little spare time he had left before he would sleep...and he had to decide where he was going to "crash" as shad had said, but then the shrieking of that familiar voice calling his name hit his ears...Mathas was no doubt taking too much liberty with whomever was bleeding...Wait a moment...He sniffed the air. He'd scented that blood before...The other day in his forge...Apparently the shifter was the one bleeding everywhere....He growled, moving to the ledge and grabbing up his cloak where he had dropped it, wrapping it around his right fist before making the short jump to the bottom, landing with a resounding thud...After all, he wasn't a light person...The veins in his forehead were pulsing, now, as he made the short walk to the meeting room where the voices were coming from, growling as he spoke...He didn't stop...merely keeping a steady pace as he moved toward Mathas
"And what...do you think....you're doing....?"[/b][/u]
He rose bitterly to his feet. Oh the nerve, the nerve! It was so enraging, to be stuck here with them when what he wanted was upstairs...denied, denied, woe be unto him and those who crossed him!
"Sit, boy! Don't you bark at me! I didn't touch your...amusing little whelp, it was one of Your Kind."
It would not have been possible to fit more disdain into his every word.
"As if I'd waste my time, when I can--and will--get what I really want. Besides, this dollface rather has those pretty blues set on you, and I'd never DREAM of coming between a beast and his...."
Watch your tongue, Matty boy. Watch it now, we don't want a repeat of last time, do we? He forced a nonchallant grin and instead turned to Hajia, as though Tathar no longer interested him.
"Well, there ya go, girlie. Your knight in shining silver pelt has come to save you from the big bad fangbanger, and aren't YOU the lucky one.[/b][/u]
She drew her gaze up, there were literal tears in her eyes, she had lost too much blood for it to make any difference in how he would portray her. She slumped back, feeling better that He had come to her...assitance. She would thank him someday, and she would leave him alone from this day forth. She groaned then.. her hand darting to where she had been bit. The skin was so hot it seared her figners. Wincing a little she glared at Mathas.
"..Silly child, you are ignorant. I am nothin' but an accquaintence to him. He's spoken for in my eyes... and you are not..'
She licked her lips, and tried to push herself up, whimpering out in pain again, the cut on her arm was enough to make her pas out.
" that ...damn...Lycan...priest...He's here..Tathar... I'm scared...for the first real time I'm scared I won't be able to save her.. I came..to ask ...you to watch her..."
She gushed it out , it seemed to be harder work to think than talk. She leaned her head on her other shoulder..her attention once again to Mathas.
" ..I could string you up and give you a beating, show the man respect before he rips your limbs for your body and uses them as fetching toys for the younger Lycans...."..
She was bitter and rutheless, already looking to die...she didn't care.
Sit....?! SIT?!Oh he would do a trick, but sitting wasn't going to be on the list...In fact, what he had in mind was far from it. He stopped, a mere few feet away from them, casually unwinding the cloak from his fist and dropping it to the floor, hands moving to unbutton his shirt, a wicked look appearing in his eyes, and a growl escaping his throat...though, this one was a little too close to beastial compared to what it normally was, eyes flashing that feral green for just a fleeting second before returning to their normal luster....His shirt now off he stood there, muscles in his chest and arms twitching randomly, small popping sounds erupting from his form....Mathas had stepped on his last nerve, and he would gladly take another round of punishment for the opportunity to gut him while he still lived...and with his own claws, to boot....After all, he was inside the Tower. The mortals outside were quite safe from him at the moment, so he would risk the change if the worm didn't back down and go crawling away like the parasite he was, and the strain of keeping himself at bay was showing. Hajia's words were odd...Something about a lycan priest? Watch her? He would speak with her about it when she was in a better state of mind. For now, his attention was solely on Mathas.
"SIT?! I'll skin you alive and use your bones to dig your grave, welp! If you want to treat me like a dog, then you had damn well better be able to outrun me, because I assure you when I get you, and I will, there will be no evidence left...I will devour every last speck of your existence!" [/b][/u]
Touchy, touchy! He could feel his teeth gritting again. Such a funny sensation, like eating day old bread. He had to watch his steps carefully; he, as opposed to the Lycan, was not quite yet ready to once again feel Pandora's wrath. He gave the lycan as wide a berth as possible, sure that they both could sense his cowardice--oh, the vice of humanity! It was enough to make him cry--almost. But tomorrow, tomorrow, such a lovely tomorrow, was only a day a way, so he crept nearer to the door.
"Yes, yes, let's threaten the Human. You're very good at that...Well then, as I can see, as much as it breaks my heart, and really, believe me, it does..."
He grinned, and miraculously his fear was drowning in sweet, hallucionogenic oblivion.
"as much as I can see that I'm not wanted, I'll not dilly dally along any more. See, I happen to have an urgent appointment to keep, perhaps you heard about it? I get to go see Pandora...normally, she wouldn't hold for any after hours arrangements, but she considers me a...special case."
He let his blue eyes dwell for a second on the lycan, deciding right then and there that the VERY first thing he'd do once he escaped the Tower would be to invest in some silver underwear. Still, he couldn't help but put in the jibe, to see how irate he could make the lycan before hastily darting out.
