I just want to start off by letting you know that I apologize. I am severely sorry for the way things happened, and even more so for not returning your feelings. The truth is, I honestly do not feel the same way as you. I see you as a friend, and I would cherish that much should you allow it. I understand that you are upset right now, but please consider my feelings on the matter. I could not think of a way to say it before, and that is why I lied. Please accept my heartfelt apology, and at least consider letting us remain as friends.
