Senor Silly Story
==== Narrator ====
: says to ALL:.... Deep within the caves tucked neatly away in the Forgotten Forest the first of them awoke. The monstrously sized jaws spread open as it yawned, a thick fluid dripping lazily from the beast's fangs in response. The yawn was relatively quiet but the noise was enough to wake the rest of the brood from their extended slumber. It is hard to say how long these scaled, winged creatures have remained dormant inside the depths of the cavernous expanses but when the first of them releases an ear splitting screech it is immediately obvious they are awake and ready for action. The dragonesque monstrosities avoided having their names added to myth, or so they thought, by eliminating the last group of mortals to encroach upon their lands, or so they thought. There was a single man that escaped them the last time they awoke and he was competent enough to record his findings...although his account was attributed to works of fiction rather than fact. Naturally the man was long dead by the time the creatures of his nightmares awoke to terrorize those they considered a threat to their livelyhood...an ironic assumption considering the majority of their lives was spent in deep hibernation.

Senor Silly Story
==== Narrator ====
: says to ALL:.... The alpha male, for lack of a better term, was responsible for the screeching outcry and it had immediate results. Aside from sending an irritating sound blast through the kingdom his vocal explosion served another, more productive purpose. It was the equivalent of their reptilian battlecry and before long the deep bass filled sound of his beating wings could be heard in the distance as he rose from the cave and hovered before his minions. In truth the beasts were nothing more than scaly, winged bullies who didn't like people near their respective homesteads. The origin of blame for their demeanor was difficult to place considering their predicament. They possessed a particularly nasty neurotoxin that they are not completely immune from oddly enough. The toxin, when introduced into a victim caused an array of harmful side effects ranging from vivid nightmares to full blown, murderous psychosis. It was that very psychosis that altered their rationale and caused them to be such devious, lifetaking buggers. As the alpha hovered in front of his army he could feel the drive to irradicate the foreigners from his land pulsating through his veins and his restlessness was quickly spreading to his kin.

Senor Silly Story
==== Narrator ====
: says to ALL:.... As haphazardly as they appeared to be assembled the group was actually a precise and deadly union. Acting upon an unspoken command, or at least so it would seem considering the lack of any visible body language or audible vocalization, the smallest of the group takes flight from her cave. As the youngest she was roughly the size of a large dog, but in no way resembled one. Covered from head to toe in thick, armor like scales with great bat sized wings and a long thick tail there was nothing mammalian about her appearance as she weaved through the trees en route to the village. Her job was simple enough and one she would enjoy completing. While her thin, but oddly sturdy wings propelled her forward she found what she was looking for and something akin to a smile formed where her lips should have been. The venom began collecting in her fangs as she dove wrecklessly toward the man hunting for his supper. The hunter had heard her approach and was spinning wildly about looking for some sort of giant by the sound of things. He had mistakenly taken the sound of her beating wings to be footfalls of some type of giant he didn't actually believe existed. By the time he saw her it was far too late and he could do nothing but stand frozen as she descended toward him. His life flashed, frame by frame, before his eyes while what he assumed was to be his death approached. When she reached him her fangs penetrated his shoulder briefly and she was gone. The man stood frozen for a moment before slumping to the ground in an unconscious heap.

==== Narrator ====
: says to ALL:.... She had been away from the group for little more than ten minutes and they were obviously pleased with her return. The sound of their victorious shrieking could be heard from miles and was far more intense than the screech let loose by the alpha. The youngster's job was to infect one of the mortals and she had done her job well. The younger creatures did not possess the control over how much venom they delivered that the elders did and as a result the man would be completely overtaken by the venom when he awoke.
[Cut to hunter]
The man rose from the ground mere minutes after the attack with a full recollection of what happened and no chance of anyone believing him because of how utterly batshit crazy he would be by the time he reached the others. His head was pounding and his mouth was dry but those were the least of his concerns. The most pressing issue was that distant voice that seemed to be screaming somewhere in the back of his mind. It sounded eerily similar to the voice of the daughter he lost to illness and it seemed to be screaming for help. As he wandered back toward the village, his bow and arrow in hand, he did his best to focus on that voice and what it was saying. When his steps brought him to the edge of the Forest he finally caught a glimpse of what the voice was screaming. "Kill them. Save me." And so it began. He would be the first to succumb to the murderous rampage but rest assured there would be more....and soon.
